APPOINTMENTS

I wish to inform you of the following appointments:

Be further informed of the appointment of Sr. Rita Schwarzenberger OP as a member of Archdiocesan Pastoral Executive Council.

N.B.:
1. All appointments take effect on January 28, 2012.. All pastors are to take possession of their parishes on or before this date.
2. Proper handover notes must be prepared, signed by both the outgoing and incoming priests and countersigned by the dean and a copy consigned to my office. Once a note is signed by the in-coming priest, he is fully responsible for the content of the notes. A comprehensive inventory of parish property must be taken.
3. All parochial and institutional bank accounts must be accounted for and monies said to be left in them should and must be backed with current bank statements verified by the incoming parish priest together with the parish laity council chairman and the parish finance committee chairman. Incoming priests signing notes without verification of things mentioned in the notes will be held responsible for things signed for.
4. All debts, including contributions to the central fund, approved 2nd collections due and levies are to be settled before handing over.
