Brief History  

The parish was established in 2000 with the late Fr. Augustine Gwayit as the
first parish priest. Until that time, it was an outstation under St. Patrick’s
Dogon Kurmin. Since its establishment, the parish has had 5 parish priests:
Fr. Augustin Gwayit (2000-2002); Fr. Clement Kagoma (2002-2004); Fr. Peter
Babangida (2004-2005); Peter Wazimtu (2005-2006) and Kenneth Kaboshi (2006
till date). The parish has one catechist and a volunteer, there are 16 Masun
Wa’azi who assist with the care and running of the 17 outstations under the
parish.
